Helping children prepare for the 11 Plus Exam at a more gradual pace with introduction to Verbal & Non-Verbal Reasoning
11 Plus In-Centre or Online Tuition from Year 3 helps children prepare for the 11 Plus Exam at a more gradual pace. The programme is for Year 3 children aged 7 to 8 years. It consists of English with Creative Writing and Comprehension, Maths, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
Children will attend two hours a week where they will benefit from lessons done in small groups followed by classroom activities and homework. Starting from September, the Year 3 tuition will run for eleven months. Children will familiarise themselves with Year 4 11 Plus during August.
We make Maths fun and engaging with a range of programmes to get children involved in mathematical activities throughout the year.
Children are encouraged to read a book every day and discuss what they have read during the week in lessons. We believe strong comprehension skill is the key to a child's success.
Children improve their spatial awareness from Year 2 onwards. This builds a good foundation for their 11 Plus exams including Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning.
